Drayton BOWLS CLUB HISTORY
Rink 46 (Home of the Drayton Bowls Club) was established in 1946. We have a rich history of producing top-tier players who have gone on to represent District sides with pride.
With a strong membership base of 135 enthusiastic bowlers in 2022, we are excited to continue to welcome new members from all over Toowoomba and beyond. We pride ourselves on being run by our very own dedicated members who are committed to providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors.
Come and join our community of passionate lawn bowlers at Toowoomba’s best bowls club and be a part of a legacy that has stood the test of time. We can't wait to see you on the green!
Rink 46 is a part of the City Golf Club group following the purchase of the property from Drayton Bowls Club.

TOOWOOMBA LAWN BOWLS
Our Toowoomba bowls club has a rich history that we are very proud of. The club has been standing since 1946 and has proudly catered to and been supported by the local community.
Originally named the Drayton Bowls Club, our establishment was built by Toowoomba locals during the uncertain aftermath of World War Two, back when the population of Toowoomba was just 32,000.
After partnering with City Golf Club in 2022, the club was rebranded as Rink 46 and given a major facelift as renovations took place. Today, it stands as the premier destination for a fun time out, but also as a piece of Toowoomba history.

Make Rink 46 the next destination for your school trip! Our “Learn to Bowl” program accepts kids of all ages. We can cater to school groups as well as Vacation Care groups.
BONA FIDE VISITORS WELCOME
Don’t worry, everyone is welcome! You don’t need to be a member or even attend with a member to enjoy the grand game of bowls along with the best of what our bistro has on offer.
QUALIFIED COACHES AND UMPIRES
We have experts available to turn you into the bowls superstar you were born to be. If you’re here to play a competitive game of bowls, we have qualified umpires available.
